Hemel fenomeen – Jan Verbruggen

Boomgaard / Verger
Drogenbos - Stalle

In the Boomgaard, the beautiful garden of the farm and art studio of painter Felix De Boeck (1898 – 1995), you can visit PeriFeria for an exhibition with work by painter Jan Verbruggen, photographer Barbara Sandra and artist Paoletta Holst.

Jan Verbruggen makes paintings, drawings and installations. In his paintings he creates imaginary landscapes in which he explores the boundaries of the area that surrounds him. In the same way a map is indispensable when travelling, but at times also difficult to read, (dis)orientation plays an important role in his work.

In de Boomgaard Jan Verbruggen creates and shows “hemel fenomeen”, an installation about painting in the open air.
