Mira Sanders – Le journal d’un usager de l’espace

09/09
At 15:00
GRNS – Rodepoortstraat 32
Strombeek

For Le journal d’un usager de l’espace, a heterogeneous artistic practice with a focus on space that is at the same time geographic, sensorial and social, Mira Sanders used the ‘act of drawing’ to explore visual possibilities in order to appropriate limits as objective matter into an artistic vocabulary. Through an exploratory and intuitive research process Sanders produced images of limits, images that emerged from intimate experiences along the way. Walking next to the landscaped paths, she marked the volatile and mobile, fluid and invisible and declared them in a new pictorial territory, using an index method to gather images, actions and intentions along the way.

On 9 september at GRNS in Strombeek, Mira Sanders will be presenting her research from Le journal d’un usager de l’espace with a short film screening and presentation of visual material.
