Agence Ter – The Molenbeek valley as a productive park
The French landscape and urban planning agency Agence Ter conducted a design study in the framework of Metropolitan Landscapes* investigating the potential of development of the open space areas in the north-western edge of Brussels.
For the green areas west of the Ring Road Motorway, they came up with a bold proposal: a covering of the motorway over 1.4 km distance, with a large productive park linking the agriculture lands on the Flemish side of the Ring with Laarbeek forest and the marshes of Ganshoren and Jette on the Brussels side.
On the Day of Architecture on September 10th, Annelies De Nijs from Agence Ter will present the study proposals during a walk through the area.
